Nathan, 8 - New Hampshire
Hi my name is Nathan and I am 8 years old. I was diagnosed in March 2006. I live in NH and I love the snow. I love karate and playing toon town on the computer. I also love to draw and my favorite subject is Math. I love playing with Legos and Bakugun is another favorite. I have an older sister who is 12 years old and she helps my parents and myself with my diabetes. I have diabetes, but we are a family and we work together everyday to keep me healthy so I can be a kid. My mom says all the time that I am a kid first, then I am a diabetic second. I can do anything that anyone else can, I just have to be more aware that's all.

Heyyyyy! I am colleen! I have been a diabetic for 8 years. I am currently on a insulin pump. I am very energetic and funnnn! I love to have fun! That's what life is all about! I play soccer, basketball, and gymnastics (favorite is soccer)! My family and friends are the most important to me. My favorite color is neon green! I have no idea what I want to be when I am older, but I do want to travel the world! Finally, I live everyday to the fullest! Get to know me! I am pretty coool! Lol!

My name is Julia. i live in Louisana . I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. I have 2 pets and both of them are dogs .I love to ride horses I have been riding horses for almost 4 years. I also show in the Louisiana 4-h horse show every year, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on 10/20/09.

I am 11 yrs old, and I've had diabetes since Oct 12th, 2009. I have 3 brothers and one sister. My favorite color is green and my favorite sport is football. I play volleyball and basketball and like reading. I love to create art and play Wii. I have a little dog named Sebastian.

My name is Brandi. I am 9 years old. I just found out on October 13 I have type 1 diabetes. I have a dog named Max, a guniea pig named Oreo, and some fish. I like cheerleading, skateboarding, and playing on my Nintendo DS. I have a baby brother who is 2, and a sister who is 8 .

Jonathan, 8 - Florida
My name is Jonathan and I was diagnosed with Type 1 in June 2009. I thought it would be really hard to go to school with diabetes, but I am doing great! I like to do karate and have an orange belt. I also love basketball and the ocean. My favorite thing is animals, expecially sea animals. I want to be a marine biologist one day. I also want to be an inventor! I love lego, bakugan, bionicles, drawing and swimming. I have never seen snow!! I am an only child and have 4 pet fish. I want to talk to kids like me or kids that just got diagnosed with diabetes that might be scared or worried like I was at first. I want to tell you everything will be OKAY!!

Dillion, 8 - Nebraska
Hi, my name is Dillion and I am 8. I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes Sept. 13th, 2009. It is NO fun, but I am learning to live with it. I like sports. My favorite sports are golf and football. As well I enjoy baseball, basketball, tennis, camping, boating, rappelling, hiking and racquetball. I am the only one in my school with diabetes and I want to find someone else that is dealing with the same thing.

Hi, I'm Nailah and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 9 on September 30, 2009. I was so sad when I found out. I am the only one in my school that has diabeties. Everyone asks me why I have to keep leaving class to get my insulin. I want to talk to other kids that have diabetes so I won't feel lef out so much.
