Velvety Vanilla Shake
If you need a snack break, here's a shake that'll boost your mood. (You might need an older kid or a grown-up to help.)
1 cup low-fat milk
2 tablespoons sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
3 tablespoons protein powder (optional)
1 cup ice
Blend milk, pudding mix, and protein powder in a blender. Add ice and blend until smooth and thick. Pour it in a glass, stick in a straw, and slurp! Serves just you. Double the ingredients to share with a friend.
For a banana shake: Add half a banana before adding the ice, ore reduce the ice to 1/2 cup and add half a frozen banana.
Strawberry: Add 1/2 cup frozen strawberries and 1/2 cup ice instead of the 1 cup ice.
Chocolate: Use chocolate pudding mix instead of vanilla.
