Here is the very latest on research that is seeking a cure for diabetes.

JDRF was founded in 1970 by some parents of kids with diabetes. Since it began, JDRF has only been about one thing: finding a cure for diabetes.

Guess what that means! Research, and lots of it.

Biomedical research has cured many diseases, and it has helped many diseases become survivable, including polio, cancer, AIDS, and even diabetes. (It was a researcher who discovered you could take insulin and stay alive, back in 1921.)

JDRF wants diabetes to be the next disease on that "cured" list!

So this, as they say, is The Stuff. This is what it all comes down to. The hope that one day very soon, you won't have to deal with diabetes.
