I guess everyone including myself is my role model because think about it, who's the one testing your blood? Who's the one putting those sites in your stomach? Who's the one who watches what you eat? And who's the one who deals with life in a different way than most people, but is ok with it???.......YOU!!!

My role models with diabetes are Thomas Edison (inventor) and Halle Berry (catwoman).

My favorite person with diabetes is Chris Dudley (former NBA player). He came to my school on Diabetes Day. I liked him because he sounded like such a "real" person meaning he knew what he was talking about and was not afraid to show it.

My favorite role model is a girl named Anna. I met her at camp. She was my counselor in camp in 2006. She is the reason why I got the pump. That is why Anna is my favorite role model.
