Children's Congress Teen Tyler Burkhalter Makes the Final Four on Endurance! New York, NY, January 28, 2004 — If you've been watching Endurance 2, the reality TV show on Discovery Kids (NBC) on Saturday mornings, you know that Tyler and his teammate, Michelle, have made it to the final four.  Twenty teens were chosen to compete on Endurance 2, which took place on a remote island and tested contestants' strength, stamina, wits, and strategy.  In spite of being underdogs since the beginning of the show, Tyler and Michelle have showed the true meaning of endurance, and still have a chance to win it all.  

On last week's episode, Tyler and Michelle won their very first mission — to everyone's surprise — and turned the tables on their competitors.  There are just three weeks left in the season, so be sure to tune this Saturday and cheer Tyler on!

In real life (which is not quite the same as reality TV), Endurance 2 only took three weeks to film, and Tyler is now back home in Florida and going to school.  He can't tell us whether or not he and Michelle won the grand prize on the show, but he did talk to us about what it was like being on the island, managing his diabetes, and seeing himself on national television.
